Independent dance artists whose practice emerges from the urge to explore social, emotional, and somatic tensions. Together, they form a collective with a vivid artistic voice, rooted in dialogue and a sense of togetherness. Their work stems from a belief that dance can and should be a tool both for critical thinking and active co-participation of audiences. They are not interested in art confined to aesthetics - they choose movement that provokes reflection and action, movement that refuses to accept the status quo. Their mission is to initiate transformative processes - both in audiences and in social structures, which they comment on. Through choreographic work, they give the voice to the audience, engaging them not only as observers but also as co-creators. They create a performative space as a site of encounter, exchange, and the coexistence - or even clash - of different perspectives. The body is a center of their work - not as a neutral object, but as a tool of resistance, memory, and storytelling.
They work with a wide range of dance and performance techniques - including contemporary dance technique, physical dance, floorwork, or Japanese butoh, which enables them to create complex and multidimensional stage forms. In 2022, they were invited by Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch to the international dance festival Under construction - Under dogs and Role Models. In 2024, they participated in Polish Dance Platform in Open Platform/Let’s network. They are the winners of the Przestrzeń Otwarta competition organised by the Dance Centre PENDULUM, within which they created a performance, The crisis body. In 2023 they premiered Homo homini porcus at Teatr Ósmego Dnia, which was also presented in 2024 at4th Backyard Theatre Festival – Gra z teatrem. The artists also collaborate with the Polish Theatre Foundation, developing projects on the intersection of dance, activism and socio-artistic exploration.

ALEKSANDRA JÓŹWIAK
“When I slouch, that’s how I dance”. In her free time she likes to lie in a trough. Hates routine and onions. Suffers from mephobia - she is worried she’s going to become so fucking amazing, that humanity won’t be able to handle that and will simply perish. Inside, still a soft little dumpling.

SZYMON OBOLEWICZ
Manager of the turmoil, which he creates himself, often on purpose. Owner of charging cabels with every possible input. He can’t dance off-beat yet ends up doing exactly that for half the show. He’s developed a fondness for the number seven; not six, not eight - seven.

OLGA MARIA PIECHOCKA
A boomer. Rooted, grounded, and the ground is a good sense of humor. Sadly, no one has ever seen it. She dipps her cheese in a tea and claims she’s eating cheese spread. Hugs trees because she is sick of people who never stop talking.

KAMIL PODGÓRSKI
Human or octopus? His long and soft tentacles are a danger to anyone who gets too close. They sometimes get tangled in his companions’ hair. He is scared of the 37th day of every month. His 24 hours last longer than the 24 hours of other humanoid creatures.

ANNA PRĘTKA
A dancer and choreographer from Poznań. A graduate of the Private School of Dance Arts in Poznań and a scholarship recipient at the Point Park Conservatory of Performing Arts in Pittsburgh. Since 2021, she has been pursuing education abroad in the field of dance and performance, including in Italy, the Netherlands, and the United States.

ALICJA WEISSKOPF
Paranoicznie romantyczna. Ma 5 lat, a jednocześnie cierpi na demencję starczą i liczne niepokoje. Szczeka nie tylko na psy, ale też na ludzi. Nosi klej z brokatem na brwiach.
